A Dream of Warmth

Come in from the cold,
All you who wear loneliness
Clinging to you, your face, your beard, your clothes
Like so much winter snow.

Come in from the cold,
Sit by the fire of friendship;
Let it warm you until you feel human again,
Until you feel loved.
